A 35-year-old woman in Uttar Pradesh allegedly killed a 32-year-old man who had been blackmailing and raping her, police said on Sunday. The woman confessed to the crime after initially misleading police. She said she had been harassed by the man for a long time and decided to kill him after he drugged her and tried to assault her again. The incident occurred on January 29 in Ghur Samsapur village near Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh.
Jio-BP, the fuels and mobility joint venture between Reliance Industries and UK's BP, on Thursday announced a partnership with BluSmart - India's first and largest all-electric ride-hailing platform - to set up a network of commercial large-scale EV charging stations. A 25-year-old man was killed on a moving train in Telangana after he confronted four men who had stolen his money.
